Dylan and I first met at a church camp in Missouri, where he was visiting his best friend who had moved there. We were both kids camp counselors and noticed each other, but didn't act on it. We exchanged numbers and stayed in touch. Months later, our texting turned into something more. Dylan drove 14 hours from South Carolina to visit me, and we started dating on December 31st, 2018. We survived two years of long-distance, and when I turned 18, I moved to South Carolina to be with him. On a peaceful Sunday afternoon, Dylan surprised me with a romantic walk around the State House gardens. Under a beautiful tree, surrounded by flowers and rose petals, he proposed. Now, we're living happily ever after, grateful for that devine encounter at church camp and the love that's grown between us
