On Lynsey’s birthday, she pulled into the driveway after work. She was met by Dylan in a suit who opened her door and stuck a nametag on her. The nametag said “Agent Kenzie” who happens to be her favorite character from the show NCIS: LA. -A little background information; Lynsey LOVES shows like NCIS: LA, Criminal Minds, Law & Order SVU, and Chicago PD- She was told that there had been murder that needed to be investigated and was escorted into the livingroom to be “debriefed” on the situation. The livingroom had been turned into an investigation room. There was a posterboard with “leads” on potential suspects and folders with information on the “victim”. Dylans grandma Barb, brother Owen, sister Presley, & one of Lynsey’s close friends Crystal were in the room with name tags of other characters from her favorite shows and were included in the debriefing. Once everyone was caught up on the situation, they moved to “the Crime Scene”. There they found a section blocked off with caution tape & pieces of evidence, along with the body(Ashley was trying so hard not to laugh while pretending to be dead). They went through the evidence and moved over to the last location of the investigation. They drove to the location where the possible suspect was, and were instructed to spread out to investigate. Dylan and Lynsey went inside of a building, where Dylan was “poisoned” by beef jerky and room temperature milk (gross, right? The things he does for love!) So Dylan fake died and all of a sudden the suspect came from around the corner and put a paper sack over Lynsey’s head! She was then led outside and the bag was removed, and right in front of her, Dylan was down on one knee with a beautiful ring, surrounded by his family and so many of Lynsey’s friends, and he asked her to marry him! She was not expecting it at all, but of course she said yes! Lynsey cried (duh) and they finished up the evening with some of her favorite things - Chicken nuggets, pie, and banana pudding!
