So here's the story... Dylan was joining St. Joseph's College for their annual trip to Six Flags- Fright Fest, a trip Dylan often attended as a student. Meanwhile, Laura was contemplating whether or not to join her coworker, Jessika Lombardo to meet up with her friends at said Fright Fest. As luck would have it, Jessika's friend(s) was Dylan! As the story goes, it was love at first sight, except there was no sight at all for both Dylan and Laura took off their glasses for much of the day (rollercoasters, am I right!). After a day of thrills, fright, and mutual love of the obnoxious and tiresome Movie Game, the two fell for one another. A shared appreciation of waffles and the hit show Parks and Recreation lead to the first date at none other than Dave and Busters (really Dylan, Dave and Busters.. come on!). The rest as they say is history.
With three wonderful years of dating behind them, Dylan knew there was no one else he would rather share his life with. After several carefully curated ideas and months of planning, the time had come to finally propose. Of course Dylan wanted to follow in the footsteps of the great Justin Timberlake in the hit 2013 film, Friends with Benefits with a giant Grand Central Station flashmob, but he knew Laura would much rather die than to have that done. No, instead a small intimate event fit for the likes of Amelia Mignonette Thermopolis Renaldo, Princess of Genovia, was planned. Dylan wanted to surprise Laura with a movie-esque scene made for a Disney Princess filled with lights, love, and more lights. Thanks to the wonderful 'Pals'; Danielle, Meag, and Jenn distracted Laura with a day of pampering. While, Dylan put Bobby, Brian, and Ricky hard to work with no food or drinks (sorry about that guys), to create the desired vision. After the much anticipated, "Yes", Laura, Dylan, both families, and those who helped make this possible shared in a much deserved celebratory meal!
