FAQs

The Wedding Website of Kenzie Baca and Dylan Sanders
We’ve answered some of the most common questions to help you feel prepared, comfortable, and ready to celebrate with us.
Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We’d love to celebrate with everyone’s little ones, but due to venue capacity, some invitations include children while others are reserved for adults only. Please know guest list decisions were made thoughtfully as we balanced both sides of our families while including our friends, and we love and appreciate each of you dearly. If children are included in your invitation, their names will be listed on your RSVP. 🤍

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal. We’d rather guests feel overdressed than underdressed — wear what makes you feel your best! As a starting point: gentlemen are encouraged to wear suits or dress slacks with a button-down, while ladies are encouraged to wear cocktail, midi, or formal maxi dresses. We kindly request no jeans or shorts. Optional note: bring your favorite sneakers for the dance floor!

Question

What is there to do in Gainesville?

Answer

Great question! Your formal invitation will include an entire insert including optional activities, local favorites, and other important travel information.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

Absolutely! While many weddings prefer an unplugged ceremony, we invite our guests to capture all the beautiful moments. Feel free to take photos and videos during the day. We will also have a shared digital album at the reception where everyone can upload their favorite moments throughout the evening.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking is available on-site for both the ceremony chapel and reception hall, making arrival and transitions throughout the evening simple and convenient for guests. Please note that the parking area is gravel; however, there are designated drop-off areas to help accommodate guests wearing heels or those needing easier access.

Question

What happens if it rains?

Answer

Isn’t it good luck for it to rain on your wedding day? Regardless — rain or shine, luckily both our ceremony and reception venues are indoor and on one site! No August heat or rainy day plans needed.
