Our venue is Halter Wildlife in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. A hunting lodge by fall and winter, this place holds important, diverse wetlands and wildlife. By spring, the ecosystem comes to life, full of indigenous plants and wilderness that make Southern Wisconsin so beautiful. It is also a place near and dear to Dylan and Kayla.
We recommend traveling to either Chicago O’Hare International Airport (approximately 45 minutes – 1 hour from Halter Wildlife) or Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport (approximately 35 minutes from Halter Wildlife).
There is no public transportation from the airport that takes you directly to Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, so we recommend car rentals.
We have a limited block of rooms at the SpringHill Suites Kenosha. There are a small amount of Airbnbs and VRBOs in Pleasant Prairie if you prefer those rentals. Other hotels we recommend you to explore are:
