Airport Tips
Houston has two major airports. We highly recommend flying into William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) which is about a 45 minute drive to Galveston. Flying into George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) will add about 30 minutes to your drive to Galveston. For DC guests, there are many options flying Southwest out of DCA to HOU. We suggest renting a car versus using ride share.
