When is the RSVP Deadline?

Please RSVP by August 15, 2025, so we can have an accurate headcount.

Can I bring a date?

At this time we are keeping things intimate and small, with that no plus ones are being given.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
As much as we love your little ones, we will not be including them in the ceremony or reception. Unless noted on your invitation.

What will the weather be like?
Answer
With it being fall in Michigan, please watch the weather and dress appropriately. Please refrain from wearing jeans and hats to the wedding.

Where should I park?
Answer
When you enter the park you will need to check in with the attendant and then drive down to the Environmental Discovery Center parking lot. Please give yourself an extra 5-10 minutes upon arrival at the park. The drive to the Discovery Center is about 5 minutes from the entrance.

Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?

Yes, and there will be a golf cart available for anyone needing assistance getting around the property!

What should I wear?
Answer
Please see our Schedule for the dress code. Think fall colors, no jeans or camo and no hats. It is Semi-Formal. Please refrain from wearing any kind of rust and burnt orange colors as this is the wedding party colors.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Our wedding ceremony is outdoors, but our reception will be inside the building. This is weather permitted.

What time should I arrive?
Answer
Please arrive by 4:45pm. The Ceremony will start at 5:00pm with the reception to follow. If you arrive earlier you are welcome to check out the park and the Discovery Center. The Reception Hall will not be open until after the ceremony.

What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?
Answer
Do not wear stiletto heels. There are a bunch of grassy/dirt areas that you might have to walk in so wear chunky heels or sandals. No tennis shoes. The reception will be inside

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
Answer
Yes you are welcome to take photos of the wedding. However, please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony.

Is there a gifts registry?
Answer
There will be a registry to help support our honeymoon fund.

Whom should I call with questions?
Answer
Do not call the bride or the groom the day of the wedding. You are welcome to call the brides mother and father.
