Travel Note
This is the city we live in and recommend flying into! It’s a small, regional airport that United, American and Delta fly into. There are also a few rental car agencies based in the airport. It’s the closest airport to Meeker, about 1 hour and 40 minute drive! Half the drive is on the interstate, while the second half is on a 2-lane state highway.

DIA is the closest international/large airport to Meeker. It is about a 4.5 hour drive, over Vail pass, mostly interstate. Perks of DIA is ease of getting a rental car, and most airlines fly there (United hub).
Flight
This is another option if you’re looking for a bigger airport to fly into. The drive from SLC to Meeker is about the same time as from Denver, but it can be a smoother commute! The drive is mostly county and state highways, and the views are stunning! This is a Delta hub, but most major airlines fly here.

Steamboat Springs/Hayden: 1 hour 40 minute drive, SouthWest flies here Montrose/Telluride: 2.5 hour drive, SouthWest flies here, have gotten direct flights from ORD with United Aspen: 2 hour drive
