Haley and Dylan met and had their first date on January 1st, 2021… what a great way to start off the new year! After getting dinner at Texas Roadhouse, the two drove around in Dylan’s car for hours on end talking and sharing stories. It felt like they were best friends from the moment they met, and it has felt that same way since! They both agreed that this was the most perfect first date (almost unbelievable) as to how great they got along and how natural the conversation flowed. The two have been inseparable since that wonderful day!

All along, Dylan planned to propose to Haley on the day they moved in together on August 17th of 2024. The couple's parents were there to help move things and were in on the secret plan. The couple were deciding where to put some furniture when Dylan got on one knee while Haley was turned the other way. After the big surprise, Haley was shocked but of course said yes! The two celebrated the engagement with their parents and Haley's grandma after the special moment.
