Although there are Uber and Lyft drivers in Boone/Banner Elk, they are limited compared to most cities. Please keep this in mind when planning travel for the weekend. Similar to traditional semi-formal, think Suits and Dresses, but feel free to lean in to the mountain theme with fun colors or florals!
Totally up to you! We have hotel blocks in neighboring towns of Banner Elk and Boone to get the best of both worlds. Banner Elk is closer to the venue, but Boone has more restaurants, shopping, etc. If you decide to book an Airbnb, just know that Ubers are limited, so please plan accordingly.

It’s usually a range from mid 60s to high 70s. It can get a bit chilly at night, so bring a light jacket if you are cool natured :)
