How early can I book the ferry?

6 month ahead, check BC ferries website March 12.

Where is the group campsite?

Answer

The group-site is within Montague Harbour Marine Park. The group-site is walk-in.

What options are there for camping?

Answer

1) The walk-in group site, we have booked (max 25 adults) 2) Drive-in single (max 4 adults) and double sites (max 8 adults), first come first serve

What amenities are at the campground?

Answer

Basic amenities, running water, pit toilets and bear bins. The group-site has a large flat gravel area for tents, a large covered gazebo with picnic table and counters for cooking, a sink with a water tap, 2 wood burning stoves, a large fire ring with benches and a charcoal BBQ (depending on fire bans the use of these items may be restricted).

We don't want to camp what other options are there?

Answer

Don't worry, not everyone is camping. Galiano is a small community with limited accommodation, we recommend booking something soon. Take a look in our "Travel" section.

Does Galiano have stores?

Answer

Galiano has two main stores, The Market and The Corner Store. They are small, but they typically have what you need (groceries, liquor etc.).
