What is a “green dance” or “prosperity dance”?

Answer

A green dance/ prosperity dance is where the bride and groom dance separately and guests are encouraged to dance with them. When going up to dance with either the bride or groom it is traditional to “pin” money on either party while dancing. It is said to bring good fortune and prosperity to the new couple!

Question

Why won’t the DJ play my song?

Answer

The bride and groom have provided a strict DO NOT PLAY list of songs to the DJ. If he is not playing your request it is because it falls on that list! We apologize in advance however they are songs that both parties have decided they would not enjoy hearing on their special day!
