How should I refer to the couple?

Answer

We would ask that individuals refer to us using non-gendered language. Rather than say bride/groom, simply call us partners, newlyweds, or significant others. Additionally, please refrain from using Cyrus or Dylan's born-names and refer to us only by the names Cyrus and Dylan.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

To ensure that everyone is seated for the ceremony on time, we are asking guests to arrive at 1:30 p.m.

What does it mean to have an "unplugged" ceremony?

Answer

We invite all of our guests to be fully present for the duration of the ceremony and request that you refrain from cellphone usage. We’ve hired a photographer to capture how this moment looks, so you can capture how it feels!

What is the dress code?

Answer

Guests are encouraged to wear fantasy-themed attire to the wedding. There are many clothing brands (and even Amazon!) that will help you craft your perfect wedding-day armor. However, please refrain from purchasing from the brand HolyClothing, as that is what the wedding party will be wearing. Guests who do not feel comfortable participating in theme-wear are more than welcome to dress business casual to the event.

Are the services indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony will take place outdoors. The reception is set to happen within the barn on the property.

What should I expect as far as transportation?

Answer

Day-of parking will be available at the venue. Guests are expected to have their rides to and from the services arranged.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We understand that some individuals may wish to bring a partner or friend with them to the service, especially those who are traveling from out of town. Please bring no more than one additional individual and ensure that you have contacted us so that they may be included on your RSVP.

What type of food will be served at the reception?

Answer

There will be light hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour, followed by a buffet-style dinner and dessert.
