Cydney and Dylan met in the summer of 2021, while COVID was bringing people together via the internet. They talked for a few weeks while Cydney was recovering from her latest knee surgery and decided to meet up for the first time at Kent Station on a lunch date. Both had a great afternoon getting to know each other more and getting over the first date jitters. Cydney even tried sushi for the first time - though it took some getting used to and they opted to grab some Thai food instead, after the first two rolls. They continued to talk and hang out after that, working on Dylan's Integra, going for cruises in Cydney's Miata, hiking, off-roading, etc., forming a solid friendship and becoming inseparable. By December 2021, they had decided to officially start dating and Dylan had moved into Cydney's apartment in Issaquah. After living together for a bit, they decided the next step for the relationship was buying a house together. In November 2023, they bought their first house and coincidentally also adopted their first puppy, Ghost (who now runs their lives). With a home, a new family and a continuing adventure, Cydney and Dylan are excited to add marriage to their list of accomplishments! They have chosen to elope on October 10th, 2026 and cannot wait to celebrate the union with their loved ones the following weekend at one of their favorite campsites. Cydney and Dylan are so grateful for the love and support they have received from family and friends. They agree that life would not have been as special without you all and they hope to see you this fall!
