Hiking: Rebel Ranch boarders Medicine Bow National Forest. Head south and in 20 min you can be at the top of Rebel Ridge, jump on the ‘rail trail’ where the old railroad ran years ago. This trail takes you through some of the most beautiful Moose country and loops you around to Lake Owen. This trail has motor restrictions, plan on walking or biking only. There are also multiple waterfalls, points of interest and the infamous glacier on the edge of Medicine Bow peak (people ski this well into summer months!). Bring your hiking shoes, binoculars, and bear spray!
Fishing: Rob Roy reservoir, Lake Owen, and Lake Hattie are popular fishing holes. Lots of people come from different parts of the country to see what they can catch.
