Town of Canmore
We recommend taking a few hours to visit quaint town of Canmore, Alberta right outside Calgary and on the way to Invermere, BC.
Banff
Widely visited and loved Banff National Park may interest you for sightseeing, souvenir shopping, tours, hikes, biking, and lots more. A park pass is required to visit the town of Banff and the park boundaries.
Lake Louise
If you are stopping at Banff, most tourists also visit the world famous Lake Louise! Best time of the day to visit is early morning to beat the crowds. A pass is required to visit Lake Louise.
Kananaskis Country
This is our favourite day trip to take right outside of Calgary. Recommended for scenic drives and variety of hikes where you may come across beautiful glacier lakes, mountain views and wildlife. A Kananaskis Pass is required to park anywhere in K country.
