There are several airports to choose from if you are flying in. Here are the driving times to Kingston from each: Albany Intl (ALB): 1 Hour 10 Minutes Westchester (HPN): 1 Hour 30 Minutes Newark (EWR): 1 Hour 40 Minutes LaGuardia (LGA): 2 Hours JFK Intl (JFK): 2 Hours 20 Minutes

Travel Note

From NYC Without a Car

If you’re coming from NYC without a car, there are three options to choose from: 1) Take the Metro-North from Grand Central to Poughkeepsie (1 hour 30 minutes), then taxi or rideshare to Kingston (30 minutes). 2) Take Amtrak from Penn Station to Rhinecliff (1 hour 40 minutes), then taxi or rideshare to Kingston (20 minutes). 3) Take a direct bus from Port Authority right into Kingston (2-3 hours depending on route).
