We're Getting Married!

Brookes Version- We met at the Partition bar in Saugerties in the midst of a Covid crazed world, picture this, no dancing, no mingling, no standing, you had to be seated at all times. So I'm sitting there with a crew of girlfriends (Colleen had to bribe me to go out with a pre-Partition margarita at Main Street). I see Dylan go walking right past with his friends and I shouted "are you going to walk right past or come say hello?". Immediately following the comment all three boys raced over and sat down at the jam packed picnic table. Dylan asked me if I wanted a drink, I said "make it a double" and the rest is history. Dylans Version- I was out on the town with my friends Jeremy and Mike hitting a few bars. After a while we had enough we cut across town to the Partiton to head to the parking lot where we parked and we saw a group of girls laughing at a table , I already knew who it was and kept walking, I heard “are you just going to walk by without saying hi” it was Brooke … I spun on a dime and walked over and sat at the table , Brooke went on how Jeremy hadn’t asked her out on mikes boat yet! I began making small talk and offered to buy her a drink even tho I didn’t have my wallet on me that night so I quick asked Mike for money and he slipped me a hundred and said grab me one too!
