In the peak of the pandemic when everyone felt the solitude of isolation, we found each other. Hinge, the dating app, is to thank for sticking to its tagline - "designed to be deleted". Our first date was anything but ordinary with masks being worn, Dylan forgetting to make a reservation, and Atalia showing up late anyway. But through conversation, we found we had quite a lot in common - oldest siblings, dog lovers, great sense of sarcasm, and incredibly driven. Now, this doesn't mean we clicked right away because if any of you know Atalia, you know that it takes a while to get her guard down. Thanks to Dylan's exceptional communication skills and his expertise in “what not to do on a date” (listen to his podcast Date 2 Mate) you will quickly understand his success in making Atalia fall in love. And only 2 weeks in, Atalia asked the big question “so, what are we?”. We have spent nearly every moment together since. To continue our unconventional story, only 1 month into our relationship we welcomed our first fur baby Zuko. Naturally, parenthood taught us many lessons. Most importantly it showed us how great we would be as a team. Boston became our first home together not long after, where we made extraordinary memories and friendships. So why not complicate things even more? We decided to welcome our second fur baby, Logan, all while trying to buy a first home in a challenging market. Little to Atalia's knowledge there would be one last surprise in store - The Proposal! On August 12th, 2023 Dylan got down on one knee in Newport, a place special to us both, and popped the question. Our love story is what brings us all here, happily planning our big day and excited to celebrate our love with you all!
