Our first Easter!

This picture is from our first trip to New Mexico together in 2017. Look at those mesas!

Dylan grew up in Los Alamos, home of the Los Alamos National Laboratory, where nuclear weapons were developed for the Manhattan project. This was taken at the old security checkpoint!

Our first trip to the Washington State Fair in Puyallup! Ariel won a free tee-shirt (pictured) and we commissioned a caricature of us which hangs on our wall to this day!

The lovely Midsummer Renaissance Faire was still fun even though it rained half the time we were there, and it was unbearably hot the other half! Check out that wee little pup!

This was the first major snow we shared, and when Dylan was first integrating into the Cook clan. Even early on, we all were a natural match!

Every year the Point Defiance Zoo puts together beautiful light displays for the Christmas season! You don't get to see the animals, but it's still a fun seasonal outing when you've got warm company!
