With our house being in country farmland, we recognize that nearby accommodations are few & far between. We would honestly love to have a slumber party moment for anyone interested-- bring an air mattress & anything you need to be warm and comfy! (or even bring a tent if you want)
We understand that won't be everyone's ideal stay though, LOL. For hotels, we recommend you look to Birch Run (20min drive with 5-6 options) or if you want an experience, drive a bit further to the German Village of Frankenmuth (be sure to stop into the Christmas season at Bronners!).
There are a couple airbnb's in the Chesaning area too, so feel free to look into those & coordinate with others! (if you're looking for an up-north cabin experience & planning to stay for the weekend, there is an airbnb just 10min away in Montrose & fits 16+ people)
