I heard your wedding isn't traditional... what does that mean?

Answer

It means we are all here to celebrate our love and not to celebrate the amount of money we did or didn't spend. There is no ceremony, but Madeleine will still be in a wedding dress. We do not have a wedding party. Our vows will be said in private at our engagement spot. There will be minimal and simple decorations to symbolize our love of nature and our non-materialistic life. There is no seating chart, and we encourage our families to mingle! We do not have a wedding cake and will not be "cutting the cake"; our desserts will be giant cookies made by Madeleine's cousin Chrissy, a key lime pie made by Madeleine, and an ice cream bar. Think of it like a family gathering with a little more charm. We encourage you to just have a good time and not to expect a full-blown, formal wedding as that does not represent our lifestyle together.

In that case, what’s the attire?

Answer

Dressy casual! We do love having a reason to dress up, but the reception is not elaborate and the food will be messy! We want our guests to be comfortable while they have fun, but we do ask that you dress up more than your everyday attire!

When I get to Stonehaus Farms Winery, where do I go?

Answer

Our reception will be at the Festhall of the winery and the winery staff are able to help guide you in the right direction.

Your registration doesn't have any items on it, am I missing something?

Answer

Nope! We have everything we need already as far as items go. Instead, we would love a contribution to our honeymoon in Hawaii so we can relax knowing our bank accounts won't be empty! The link to contribute to our honeymoon fund is under the registry tab.
