Farmer's Market

Capital Square,

Farmer's Market is every Saturday morning from 6am - 2pm. Join the crowds of people circling the capital building square shopping veggies, hot sauces, cheese, bread, and cheesy bread.

State Street

State St, Madison, WI 53703

State street is the walkable downtown area that juts out from the capital square and hosts plenty of shops, bars, restaurants, coffee shops and more.

Comedy on State

Comedy on State is mentioned often by famous comedians as being their favorite club to perform. We love it and highly recommend going if you're in town Thursday or Friday night.

Memorial Union Terrace

800 Langdon St., Madison, WI 53703

The terrace is an iconic spot with beer, food, ice cream, views of lake Mendota and often has live music.

UW Arboretum

1207 Seminole Hwy, Madison, WI 53711

The arboretum is a protected forested area in the middle of the city that has great hiking trails.

Henry Villas Zoo

The zoo is free!

Olbrich Botanical Gardens

The gardens are a nice place to spend a few hours and across the street from Olbrich Bier Garden, which similar to the Memorial Union Terrace in a smaller fashion, has beer and food outdoors next to Lake Monona.
