Patrick is Laura’s big brother and is the reason for Laura’s paranoia! He put the “trick” in Patrick, as their parents would say. After navigating a land mine of never-ending pranks growing up, Laura finally landed a place in Patrick’s heart and they even became friends! Patrick is the best big bro a gal could ask for and Laura and Jeff can’t wait to have him do a reading at the wedding (and they can only hope that he doesn’t have any tricks up his sleeve)!
Joelle Chow

Laura’s been lucky enough to have Joelle as a best friend for 20 years! They grew up together, danced together, went to school together, and stayed close through the years despite going to different colleges and living in different cities. The Dyers consider Joelle to be part of the family and love her as their “weekend daughter” (a nickname that came from sleepovers every weekend growing up). Laura can’t think of anyone else she’d want standing next to her on the big day!

Todd and Laura became friends during Laura’s freshman year (Todd’s sophomore year) at Mizzou. Both joined the same business fraternity and were inseparable throughout college! After college, Todd moved to LA and Laura moved to Chicago, but they still make trips to go visit each other! Laura is thrilled to have Todd stand at the altar with her.

Donis is Kim’s partner and a bonus big sister to Laura! Donis has known Laura since she was 12 years old and can always be counted on for a vent session, a nail day, or some classic chick flicks! Laura is so grateful to have Donis in her life and to have Donis by her side on her wedding day!
Illiana Dyer-Beale

Illy is Laura’s niece and Kim and Donis’s daughter. She’s going to be 12 years old this year, but 16 in terms of sass! Illy is an expert on “Say Yes to the Dress” and all things wedding-related, so of course Laura had to have Illy by her side during the wedding planning process! Illy can’t wait until Auntie Laura and “Uncle JJ” make it official!
Chance Barrow

Laura has known Chance since middle school and he always knows how to make her laugh! He’s the life of the party everywhere he goes and has a heart of gold. Laura can’t wait to celebrate with Chance by her side!!

Lauren and Laura (also known as “Lolo” and “Lala”) were roommates in college and were attached at the hip throughout all four years! They were travel buddies as well, visiting Ireland, England and The Netherlands together. Lauren is a loyal friend and can make even the little things in life fun!

Grant and Laura have known each other since 1st grade, and have been lifelong friends! Chance, Grant, Joelle and Laura have dubbed themselves “the gang” and make a point to see each other as often as possible, despite living in different cities. Grant is as kind as they come and Laura knows she can always count on him!

Jeff and Kyle have been best friends since they were in 1st grade when they were placed in an alphabetical line organized by last name (“Grote” and “Gross”)! Kyle lives in El Paso and Jeff lives in Chicago, but they have kept in touch despite the distance and remain close friends. Jeff was even the Best Man at Kyle's wedding in 2018!

Jeff and Chris have been friends since middle school and even did an exchange program in Germany together their senior year of high school. They've been by each other's side through thick and thin!

Scooter and Jeff met while interning together at an accounting firm during college. Unfortunately Scooter attended KU while Jeff attended the superior MU, but their mutual love for good coffee and good food allowed them to overlook their differences and be friends for life.

Todd and Jeff have been friends since college. They go on an annual trip to explore national parks and bond over The Killers and the song "Green Light" by Lorde. Todd and Jeff are equally boujee and enjoy chatting about the finer things in life.

James and Jeff have been friends since college. Along with their annual hiking trips with Todd and Nidhi, James also hosts a yearly lakehouse weekend in Texas - which Jeff's mom always caters with Jack Stack barbecue.
