We met online like most crazy kids these days, BUT we almost both swiped left because of how far away we were from each other in LA. We started talking online about Game of Thrones (this was before the tragedy of the final season), and before we knew it we were trying to plan a time to meet up. BUT we couldn't get our schedules together so we talked online for weeks before Dev offered to take a Lyft ALL THE WAY to Palms California from Hollywood in a gesture that went over so well that Lauren would mostly drive to Hollywood until they finally moved in together.

Dev knew he was going to ask Lauren to marry him long before it happened. Lauren didn't know even though she for sure should have. A trip to Vegas started with a hike in Red Rock and dinner at Momofuku, and ended with a SECOND hike (she should have known something was up), scrambling up the tallest boulder, setting up a phone to take a video that Lauren thought was a timed picture, and finally putting a ring on sweet Lolo's finger. We ended the night by going to Best Friend (Roy Choi's incredible Vegas eatery). What a day!

We're having two celebrations of our love! Our ceremony will be out in Joshua Tree with family only. We will celebrate our love out in the desert and dancing under the stars on November 12, 2022! To our friends, we can't wait to party with you at Verdugo Bar on December 4, 2022! We're shutting the bar down and it's gonna be a wild night! Get ready to partayyy!
