University of South Carolina Visitor Center
Tour USC's Campus! The Visitor Center is on the historic Horseshoe (which is also where our ceremony venue is!). Relax on the beautiful Horseshoe or put on your walking shoes and hit the Russell House Bookstore, the Darla Moore School of Business, and check out where John and Tracy first met! (The Honors Dorm - bonus points if you get a picture in front of it!)
Williams Brice Stadium
See where we spent (and still spend - we have season tickets!) Saturdays in the fall!
South Carolina State House
If you're into sightseeing don't miss the SC State House! The steps are a great place for photos!
Riverbanks Zoo and Garden
The Zoo is about a 15-20 minute drive from downtown Columbia and is totally worth it if you want a laid back thing to do in the afternoon before the wedding!
West Columbia Riverwalk Park and Amphitheater
The Riverwalk is a great outdoor activity - it runs along the Congaree river and provides some great views and fresh air!
Cantina 76
Head here for some delicious margaritas, tacos, and queso! It is located on Devine Street which also has some great boutiques and shops!
Pawleys Front Porch
One of the most popular burger joints in Columbia - this is a must!
River Rat Brewery
A local brewery in Columbia - there's lots of outdoor seating and games (and outdoor heaters even if it's chilly)! This is super close to Williams Brice Stadium so you can knock out two birds with one stone!
Salty Nut Cafe
If you want greasy food and a place to watch football, check out this staple for students! There's always free peanuts!
DiPrato's
A favorite brunch location. Don't come here without ordering the pimento cheese!
The Gourmet Shop
Famous for their chicken salad sandwich, this is a great brunch or lunch spot with tons of farmer's market knick knacks and goodies!
Holiday Market - South Carolina State Fairgrounds
Looking to do a little Christmas shopping? The Holiday Market is in the South Carolina State Faigrounds (located next to the football stadium) and will have endless options (there are over $150 merchants)! Tickets are $8 but well worth it!
