If you have never tried beignets, we highly recommend this location. It is not in the French Quarter, and parking is more accessible. Bring cash only. These are over a century-old tested and tried recipes, freshly fried sugar powdered donuts, and they are open 24/7. **Highly Recommended**

Breakfast and lunch diner that is popular on weekends. Limited Parking available, but street parking is nearby. A great choice for an American style breakfast.
Drago's Seafood Restaurant - Metairie - The Original
Enjoy the bride's favorite food on the face of planet earth: Char-grilled Oysters, served on half-shell with garlic, butter, parmesan cheese, white french bread and roasted over a massive charcoal grill. This restaurant serves award-winning oysters, so well known, in fact, that when you take a seat at a table the waiter asks "So how many are you getting?" This location is a couple of blocks from the Lakeside Shopping Center Mall, and a block away from Fluerty Girl. **Highly Recommended**

Chef Ron's Gumbo Stop
Creole restaurant located in Metairie. They serve jambalaya, a variety of gumbo, crawfish etouffee, and po'boys (poorboy sandwiches).
Seither’s Seafood
Serves "crawfish" commonly known as "crawdads" in other regions of the United States. They also serve crab and other types of fish. The crawfish will be a little bit spicy, but this will be an authentic, Lousiana seafood experience located in a family restaurant.
Costanza's Sno-Balls & Soft Serve
Have you ever had a "snow-cone?" Well, we have "snow-balls." They are softer than your traditional snow-cones. The ice is hand-shaved and served with sugar or sugar-free syrup. Some recipes put fresh fruit, ice cream, or even cake in the middle or on top. This particular location is treasured between the bride and her mother.
Hansen's Sno-Bliz
The original snow-ball, operating for almost 100 years. They are well-loved by the entire New Orleans community, but located up-town, near the garden district and sort of near Loyola University New Orleans, where Ethan and Mikayla went to school. Street parking only, as it is on a street-corner, but for the true authentic experience, this is where you should go.
New Orleans Museum of Art
Enjoy this art museum for art enthusiasts. There is also a sculpture garden located just outside the museum's building. The Groom's mother used to work here. The bride also visited this spot to write a paper for her art history class in university.
The National WWII Museum
Enjoy a variety of American history and an interactive 4-D show with wind and weather nuances.
Fleurty Girl
Shop for souvenirs, New Orleans based merchandise, and jewelry. This location is located across the street from the Lakeside Shopping Center mall, a block away from Dragos Seafood. They also have a store located in the New Orleans International airport, concourse C.
