Brittany and Izzy first met in 6th grade whenever Brittany moved to Linton. Through multiple sports, clubs, and other activities, their friendship continued to blossom through junior high and high school. By the time senior year rolled around, Brittany and Izzy decided to become roommates while at Indiana University-Bloomington. Rather than despising each other, Brittany and Izzy became closer than ever and would continue to be roommates all four years at IU. While they now live four hours apart, their bond remains intangible. Izzy also got to be present for Matt and Brittany's engagement by the Ryman Auditorium. She may or may not have cried...
Scott Cooksey
Best Man
Scott and Matt first met at "Rocket Club" in 4-H back in 3rd grade. Their joint commission of space exploration eventually turned into a life-long friendship when Lyons and Worthington consolidated in junior high. Since then they've had countless adventures and shenanigans that will continue until Scott finally kills them both by flipping a vehicle or catching a stray bullet from a ricochet.
Tricia Russell

Tricia and Brittany go way back to when Brittany first moved to Linton. Tricia had moved to Linton the year before, and all of their classmates had mistaken Brittany for Tricia their 6th grade year! Brittany and Tricia continued to be friends through sports and different activities through high school. They would often use each other for twin day due to being tall and blonde! Tricia and Brittany continue to be each other's close friends and annoy Tricia's husband, Curtis, with their long gossip conversations when they get together! They also share a love of reading, and Tricia has a book collection similar to Brittany's!
Russell Johnson

Russell and Matt first met when playing in their friend's (Trea Bailey's) band freshman year of high school. Russell was singing and Matt was playing piano, but Matt hadn't made it to any practices because even at an early age he was a consummate professional. So they met the day of the show playing a high school dance. Matt didn't really like Russell at first, but then somehow they started hanging out, started their own band, and became best friends. Funny how life works out when you're drinking alot....
Emily Rehmel

Emily is Brittany's younger sister. Growing up, Emily was stuck with Brittany playing mother hen to her constantly...and that still continues to this day. Emily even followed Brittany's footsteps and went to Indiana University for her bachelor's degree! You can find multiple photos of Brittany and Emily with matching shirts for different holidays or events growing up. They both share a love of reading and slushies!
Ryan Snell

Ryan is Matt's oldest brother. Matt was Ryan's best man and had to give a best man speech, which went poorly. Ryan vowed he would ruin Matt's wedding with his own speech. So heads up to anyone reading this not to associate with him January 4th. He is also professional airplanist and has a cute baby named Kit.
Delaney Lannan
Bridesmaid
Laney is Brittany's youngest sister. Being 13 years apart, Laney was commonly mistaken as Brittany's child during Brittany's high school years. It probably did not help Brittany would keep a car seat for Laney in her car either. Laney was easily the most excited about being asked to be a part of Matt and Brittany's wedding party. Brittany was unable to see Laney while back in Indiana, so Brittany left her bridesmaid gift with her mom. After their mom presented the gift to Laney, Laney read the card and jumped for joy. Of course, all being caught on camera by their mom.
Sam Dyar

Sam is Matt's younger brother who hated paying too much for cut-rate real estate agents! He hated it so much he decided to throw his hat in the ring and open up his own real estate company! Taneal and Brittany go back to an earlier, simpler time. Taneal and Brittany also participated in many sports and clubs together growing up in junior high and high school. However, Taneal and Brittany's time were best spent speeding in Taneal's grand prix blasting the radio for their pop punk emotional rage. Taneal is the girl that Brittany turns to for the appropriate playlist and fun times to be had.
Taylor "Andy" Karr

To this day no one knows how Matt and Andy met, but it may have been as early as 6 years old. In high school though, they were tight as can be, spending most weekend nights running around with each other and Scott. Not much more is known about Andy, other than he's precious and equally mysterious.
Jared Shelton

Shelton is Matt's earliest friend he remembers having. Dating back to the days before preschool, they were playing Mario Kart on Matt's older brother's Super Nintendo. Having a friend from that age truly makes you feel your age, due to the endless memories from different stages of life. From playing in the woods as kids, to playing basketball, running around town, and taking trips. #12 on the court #1 in our hearts.
