Things To Do

Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk

400 Beach Street, Santa Cruz, CA 95060

Our first date, that ended with literal fireworks on the beach while enjoying a delicious funnel cake. (Personal note from Dane, the best part of our early dates was Dyana having fifty percent off at the boardwalk) Rides, fair food (garlic fries are a must), arcade (Casino arcade and Neptunes Kingdom), mini golf, carnival games, bowling, bar & karaoke

Santa Cruz Museum of Art & History

705 Front Street, Santa Cruz, CA 95060

A great musuem which we've enjoyed a few dates and times with family visiting. There's also lots of nearby restaurants and places to get drinks after you've seeing the sights!

Downtown Santa Cruz

Pacific Avenue, Santa Cruz, CA 95060

An area ripe with things to do. Bars, Karaoke, movie theatres, places to buy cookies, tacky but quirky souvenir shops, and everything in between. Great to walk around in when you're looking for something to do.

Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds

2601 East Lake Avenue, Watsonville, CA 95076

Great little flea-market on the weekends with excellent food stalls. Make sure to bring plenty of cash if you're looking to browse, the parking and most of the stands will require it and don't take card! Also make sure to check out the Oaxacan food stand, it is a must try.

La Michoacana Paleteria y Neveria

1426 Freedom Boulevard, Watsonville, CA 95076

Dyana's parents ice cream and popsicle shop, where the couple have enjoyed their little sweet treats. (Personal note from Dane, second best thing about Dyana is that she's an icecream heiress)

Sunset State Beach Campground

Sunset State Beach, Watsonville, CA 95076

A beautiful campsite for the views and location right by the beach

Capitola Beach

Capitola, CA 95010

Nice little tourist spot, usually events going on by the beach pavilion.

Garden of Eden - Henry Cowell Redwood State Park

California 9, Felton, CA 95018

A beautiful hiking trail surrounded by redwoods that lead to the San Lorenzo River, which has some good swimming/wadding areas. A popular spot for locals and the college students at UCSC. Can get packed in the warm summer days
