Are kids welcome?

Answer

We warmly welcome infants from newborn to 15 months old at our wedding. For the comfort of all our guests, we kindly request that children older than 15 months not attend the ceremony or reception. Thank you for your understanding.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Since our wedding will be outdoors, please wear breathable clothing. The grass can be soft, so we recommend wedges, flat shoes, or sandals to avoid any heels getting left behind. Ladies: Midi or maxi dresses, flowery summer colors, floral and textures encouraged. Men: Light suits, linen and neutrals encouraged, no black, ties not required.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, we are happy to accommodate most food allergies and dietary restrictions! Please ensure you let us know in advance via the invitation.

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes, we will have wine, beer, seltzers, and champagne for guests to enjoy complimentary drinks throughout the event.

To ensure we can accommodate all our beloved guests, only those explicitly named on your invitation are included. Thank you for understanding!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 4:30pm. A shuttle service is provided beginning pickup of guests at 3:30pm to ensure guests arrive with enough time to get settled before the ceremony.

How should I RSVP?

To RSVP, please go to the RSVP page on this website. Please submit your RSVP by May 16th, 2026, so we can plan accordingly!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

We ask that guests park at the St. James Middle School nearby the venue, and a shuttle service to and from the venue will be available from 3:30pm to 10:30pm. St. James Middle School Address: 1 Tiger Drive Saint James, MO 65559

What happens if it rains?

Answer

Rest assured, we've planned for potential rain. Our rented event tent provides excellent coverage, and if weather conditions become challenging, our spacious Vrbo rental can comfortably accommodate all of our guests indoors.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request that guests do not take photos during the event. We have a professional photographer to capture every moment so we can unplug and enjoy! Once the ceremony is over, go wild with taking as many photos as you’d like. A camcorder will be in circulation, so if you want to capture something fun, get your hands on it!
