We're celebrating our marriage!

The couple met at the end of August, 2015 when Christian answered Shannon's online ad when she was looking for a room in the city. Wary of meeting a complete stranger on the side of the street, Shannon brought her Mom, Diane, with her to assess the situation. On the corner of Columbus Ave and Worcester Street, they both met Christian, his sister Nicole, and their third roommate, Jack. Despite having to deal with a shady realtor and three floors of narrow stairs, everyone decided to move in and they both started new jobs on September 1st. Despite having different interests and being basically strangers, they bonded over their shared love for Project Runway every Thursday night and became very close in a tight space. They eventually moved into a different apartment just three blocks away and both agree that they fell in love in that tiny apartment on Columbus Ave.

On January 8th, a rainy Tuesday in Boston, Christian asked Shannon to go on a walk. She agreed, and quickly became suspicious he had something planned when they started walking in the direction of their old apartment. When they got to the corner of Columbus Ave and Worcester – where they first met – he got down on one knee and pulled out the ring. She immediately said yes! They went to a nearby wine bar to cheers the moment and call their family and friends with the exciting news! They're both so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with each of you.
