Some Walgreens and CVS pharmacies are offering Covid-19 RT-PCR swab testing by appointment only. STEP 2 step one Take The Test Take the Covid-19 RT-PCR swab test or Nasopharyngeal Antigen test within 72 hours of the arrival date.

STEP 3 step one Submit Electronic Form Within 7 Days Prior to Travel All travelers must submit a government travel authorization form at https://www.visitjamaica.com/travelauthorization/ which includes health information, immigration & customs forms and a negative Covid-19 RT-PCR swab test or Nasopharyngeal Antigen test. Completion of this form is mandatory by the Jamaican Government and must be submitted anytime within 7 days prior to travel. Failure to comply will result in denied entry. STEP 4 step one Don't Forget! Covid-19 RT-PCR swab test or Nasopharyngeal Antigen test with a negative result and printed proof of travel insurance must be presented upon arrival in Jamaica.

Will I be able to return home? Where can I receive COVID-19 test now that CDC requires negative Covid-19 Test results 3 day prior to entering United States effective January 26, 2021.

Yes you will be able to be tested in order to return home. Sandals is providing the COVID-19 test at the resort with qualified medical professionals at no cost to guests prior to return flight.

Will CDC reimburse me for the cost of a COVID-19 test taken prior to leaving the U.S. or Canada?

Answer

CDC is not able to reimburse travelers for COVID-19 testing fees. You may wish to contact your insurance provider or the location that provided your test about payment options.

Do I need to get a COVID-19 test before returning to the U.S. or Canada?

Answer

Yes, negative COVID-19 test results are required for all travelers arriving in the U.S. and Canada. U.S. re-entry negative test result requirement applies to travelers 2 years of age and older and for Canada 5 years of age and older. The tests will be given on resort free of charge by medical professionals.

Yes, to ensure that this is of minimal disruption to your vacation, Sandals Resort have arranged the ability for you to have complimentary COVID-19 antigen testing for U.S. residents and PCR testing for Canadian residents right in the comfort of your resort. Tests will be conducted by approved and practiced medical professionals with maximum convenience and minimal distraction to your overall vacation experience.

What happens if I test positive while at the resort?

Answer

You'll have to self-isolate and delay your travel if symptoms develop or a pre-departure test result is positive until you have recovered from COVID-19. Airlines will refuse to board anyone who does not provide a negative test result for COVID-19 or documentation of recovery.

Will the resort offer compensation if I test positive while on resort?

Answer

We want you to travel with confidence. Should you test positive preventing your departure from the resorts, the Travel Protection Insurance Plan purchased on your behalf will cover you for up to $200.00 (USD) per night per person; up to $2,800.00 (USD) per person. What happens if I do not take a test and want to travel to the U.S. or Canada

Answer

Air passengers traveling to the U.S. or Canada are required to provide a negative COVID-19 test result or documentation of recovery. This includes passengers returning from vacation back to the U.S. or Canada. Airlines will check for a negative test result or documentation of recovery for all passengers before boarding. If a passenger chooses not to provide a negative test result or documentation of recovery, the airline will deny boarding to the passenger.

Who covers the evacuation cost if I get sick on the island?

Answer

The Travel Protection Insurance Plan purchased on your behalf will cover the cost of transport paid to the closest Hospital capable of providing treatment for Sickness/Injury that is acute or life-threatening. Is there a dress code?

Cocktail, please. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose. If weather permits ceremony will be on the beach!

What happens if my flight is delayed and it goes over the 3-day limit for testing?

Answer

If your flight is delayed before departure, you will need to get re-tested if the delay causes your test to fall outside of the 3-day pre-departure testing period requirement. Should this be the case, Sandals WILL provide another COVID-19 test FREE of charge, administered by medical professionals at the resort.

Must I wear a mask to enter a commercial airplane?

Answer

It is currently a mandate to wear a mask while you are on a domestic or international flight.
