October 2013 It all started with friendly conversation at a donation center in Dekalb, IL. Dominique worked as a phlebotomist and Dwight was a regular donor looking to supplement his college student income. The short conversation left a lasting impression with the laughs, similar energies, and friendly welcoming presence they extended to each other. Totally against company code of conduct, Dominique asked Dwight would he and his friends like to come to her 20th birthday party that upcoming weekend. Surprise by the random informal invitation to a stranger birthday party, Dwight showed up to the party with a few of his friends. Over the span of 8 years, they maintain a healthy friendship, which matured into a deeper emotional connection around the sixth year. August 24, 2021, Dwight ask Dominique to be his girlfriend. Sunday, January 23, 2023, Dwight asked Dominique to be his Wife.
