It was in February and the day after my DELL computer had crashed from yet another virus and with finals coming up, I was fed up and stressed out with Windows computers. My dad convinced me that Apple computers were the way to go and I should go to Best Buy and have someone show me the differences between Windows and Apple computers. I walked into Best Buy and there were three guys just sitting around in the computer department talking to one another. When I asked if one of them could help me, they all looked at each other and Dwayne happily volunteered with his wide smile, bright eyes and blue shirt. Now, if you know Dwayne, you know that he will give you every bit of detail that he knows to help you out, even if you don't ask him to. We must've spent an hour in front of the MacBook Pros as he showed me all the tips and tricks on how to use it. Through our interactions, flirtations and him showing his nervousness from misspelled words, we got along seamlessly. The butterflies were definitely there. He even talked to my Dad on my phone about the benefits of purchasing Best Buy Care vs Apple Care. Long story short, my Dad convinced me that UCF was the best place to buy the MacBook and that meant I would be leaving Dwayne without purchasing the computer from him. I felt horrible "wasting his time" and him having nothing to show for it, however, he did reassure me that he wasn't getting commission and it wasn't a problem. Before I left, Dwayne asked me to "hold on." I watched him run to the cash register, pull off a receipt and scribble something on the back. When he returned to me, he said "call me if you have any other questions" with his beautiful grin and sincere eyes and the rest is history. And of course me being me, I made sure to thank him by baking him his favorite cookie and meeting him at the UCF library for one of our first "dates." And that's our story...I walked in Best Buy looking for a computer and walked out with the love of my life's number.
