It all began on December 2, 2022, when Emily and Matthew matched on Bumble. Emily kicked things off by commenting on Matthew’s “life is crap” shirt — and just like that, the conversation took off. Our first date followed soon after, on December 8, 2022, at Casual Animal, where we enjoyed a couple of good drinks followed by chips and salsa. Exactly one month later, on January 8, 2023, Emily was still making the first move by asking Matt to date (lol). And that was just the beginning of something truly special. Since then, we’ve shared so many good memories together — meeting each other’s families for the first time, Matt teaching Em how to drive his 1991 Honda stick shift, trips to Colorado, exploring new breweries, countless games of pickleball, and plenty of frisbee golf. On May 10, 2025, Matt finally made his move and asked Emily to marry him! We cannot wait to share our love with everyone!!! Cheers 🥂
