Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Dustyn Donnelly and Matthew Levenda
We’re so excited to share a few of our favorite places in the area with you. Marquette has a ton of excellent restaurants, coffee shops, hiking and walking trails, as well as scenic drives. Little something for everyone.
Presque Isle Park

Presque Isle Park

Peter White Dr, Marquette, MI 49855

Gorgeous park to hike or drive through, with several scenic areas to stop and explore. A fun must do activity if you're in Marquette! While you're here you can watch the incredible sunsets, hike/walk around the park, and if you're willing to fully embrace Lake Superior, jump off the iconic Black Rocks! (Yes we actually jump off cliffs for fun. Marquette is wild)

Sugarloaf Mountain

Sugarloaf Mountain

Co Rd 550, Marquette, MI 49855

This park offers stunning views of Lake Superior and the surrounding area, 25 minute hike to the top with options for both easy and challenging trails (we recommend the “challenging” trail, the easy trail is all stairs). Well-maintained trails and boardwalks, making it accessible for all levels of hikers.

Downtown shops

Downtown shops

MI

Take a stroll through the beautiful, historic Downtown MQT abundant with gift shops, boutiques, cafes, and restaurants. We highly recommend the Spice Merchants for all your spices, teas, and olive oil needs. As well as Donckers Chocolate Shop and the Evergreen Market for some iconic Marquette goodies.

3rd Street Bagel

3rd Street Bagel

429 N 3rd St, Marquette, MI 49855

Our favorite place to get fresh bagels and bagel sandwiches. Tons of breakfast/lunch options. All made fresh to order. *We HIGHLY recommend getting a bag of "day old" bagels to take home with you!*

BODEGA

517 North 3rd Street, Marquette, MI 49855

One of the best places for food, friends, and all-around good times, owned by a local Marquette artist, Cafe Bodega only sources the freshest ingredients from local farmers. Everything is made from scratch to order! Not a place to go if you're in a rush. Sit back and enjoy yourself. *Offers TONS of gluten free/allergen friendly options*

Iron Bay Restaurant & Drinkery

Iron Bay Restaurant & Drinkery

105 E Washington st, Marquette, MI 49855
, (906)-273-0990

One of our favorite restaurants. We highly recommend the Marquette Mule, and the Whitefish Tots! Incredible food options, all locally sourced. Great patio with a view of the Ore Dock and Lake Superior.

Blackrocks Brewery

Blackrocks Brewery

424 North 3rd Street, Marquette, MI 49855

One of our other favorite breweries in town! Tons of great choices as well as outdoor spaces to relax and unwind.
