Gorgeous park to hike or drive through, with several scenic areas to stop and explore. A fun must do activity if you're in Marquette! While you're here you can watch the incredible sunsets, hike/walk around the park, and if you're willing to fully embrace Lake Superior, jump off the iconic Black Rocks! (Yes we actually jump off cliffs for fun. Marquette is wild)
This park offers stunning views of Lake Superior and the surrounding area, 25 minute hike to the top with options for both easy and challenging trails (we recommend the “challenging” trail, the easy trail is all stairs). Well-maintained trails and boardwalks, making it accessible for all levels of hikers.
Take a stroll through the beautiful, historic Downtown MQT abundant with gift shops, boutiques, cafes, and restaurants. We highly recommend the Spice Merchants for all your spices, teas, and olive oil needs. As well as Donckers Chocolate Shop and the Evergreen Market for some iconic Marquette goodies.
Our favorite place to get fresh bagels and bagel sandwiches. Tons of breakfast/lunch options. All made fresh to order. *We HIGHLY recommend getting a bag of "day old" bagels to take home with you!*
One of the best places for food, friends, and all-around good times, owned by a local Marquette artist, Cafe Bodega only sources the freshest ingredients from local farmers. Everything is made from scratch to order! Not a place to go if you're in a rush. Sit back and enjoy yourself. *Offers TONS of gluten free/allergen friendly options*
One of our other favorite breweries in town! Tons of great choices as well as outdoor spaces to relax and unwind.
