Taylor was giddy the entire night; Dustin was confident on the outside and nervous underneath. They parted ways wishing they’d had more time, but Dustin, ever the gentleman, made sure to text her to be sure she got home safely. After months of passing glances at bingo stew, Dustin finally asked Taylor on a date. Before dinner, he stopped to wish his brother a happy birthday — and promptly slipped on the ice. A few days later, while talking together, Dustin shared how thankful he was for his life: for his dream job, for where he was, and for the girl he loved.
