We had known of each other long before we ever truly met. Our paths crossed during our time at Oklahoma State University, but it wasn’t until years later, thanks to our friends Connor Cook and Fiona Painter, that everything finally aligned. One night in Dallas, a casual run-in at a bar turned into the beginning of something neither of us expected and everything we had been waiting for. From the very start, our relationship required intention. When we met, Dustin was coaching college baseball in Corpus Christi and had just accepted a new position at Missouri State, marking the beginning of a new chapter in his career. Not long after, his path would also lead him to Tarleton State. For three years, we navigated long distance, learning how to communicate deeply, support one another fully, and show up even when miles stood between us. While it was not always easy, that season built a foundation rooted in trust, commitment, and unwavering belief in one another. Through road trips, FaceTime calls, shared prayers, and constant encouragement, we discovered what it truly meant to be a team. We grew not only in love, but in purpose, cheering each other on as we pursued our dreams, knowing we were always better together than apart. On July 13th, Dustin planned a moment we will cherish forever. At his family’s lake property in Granbury, Texas, a place filled with meaningful memories, he asked me to spend forever with him. The proposal was intimate, thoughtful, and perfectly us. The celebration that followed, surrounded by family, made the day even more special. As we prepare to become husband and wife, we are incredibly grateful for the love and support that have surrounded us throughout our journey. Thank you for being part of our story, for celebrating this day with us, and for the role you have played in shaping the lives and love we share. We feel truly blessed to have you here.
