We went with our friends the Boom’s to the Whistling Well, an apple orchard, even though I don’t eat apples. I wasn’t excited at all, I was thinking more along the lines of, why am I here if I don’t even enjoy the product they grow. Dustin kind of ventured off by himself into an isle of apple trees, so I followed. He took a bite of the purlplish red looking apple and I watched. I was getting bored. We have already been there for an hour or more. So I turned around and was headed to find our friends. Dustin said “Becca”. I kept walking he got louder “Rebecca Preston”. I stopped at the end of the isle, turned around and started heading back toward him. He dropped down to one knee. He said “Rebecca Ann Preston, I love you! Would you marry me?” I instantly started ugly crying. I was also muttering “I thought you were going to propose in Aruba.” As i whip out my left hand. He says “So is that a yes?”
