Our theme is Studio Ghibli! If you are not familiar, Studio Ghibli is a Japanese production company. Think Disney but Japanese!

What Ghibli film references are there in this wedding?

Fun fact: Our invitations, save the dates, and shower invites were designed by the maid of honor Maddie, who is also Dustin’s sister! We asked for her to use the film “Howl’s Moving Castle” for inspiration as it is one of our FAVORITE movies! The little fuzzy black characters are called soot sprites! They are from the movie “Spirited Away”. We will also be incorporating characters from “My Neighbor Totoro,” “Princess Mononoke” and references to “Castle in the Sky.” Highly recommend watching any of them if you want a cozy night in!!
