Dustin & I shared the same language class in high school for all 4 years, so we’ve always known of each other and would see each other every day. We never knew each other or talked though, unless it was through passing back a graded paper or asking for a pencil. However, I had always had a crush on him, ever since the first day of highschool. Back then, I was very shy, so I never had to courage to talk to him. Dustin felt the same way about me. Due to both of us being too shy and not knowing we had so much in common, we never ended up talking or becoming friends. However, a mutual friend of ours ended up convincing me to talk to Dustin around the middle of our senior year. I ended up building some courage and messaged him, and we hit it off from there. We spent hours discussing our shared interests, especially video games! After a few weeks of talking, he asked me out on our first date. We ate at a local restaurant and walked along the rivertrail. He still pokes fun of me to this day about how nervous I was! After more weeks of talking, we got each other Valentines gifts and gave them to each other at school. Over time we grew closer and would walk with each other to our classes and text throughout the day. Then, just a week or two later, he asked me to be his girlfriend. We attended our senior prom together and graduated together, too. Soon after, I moved out of my parents house and got my own apartment. Dustin would come over often to see me. Ever since then, we have spent every day together. On March 11th, 2025, just a few days after our 2 year anniversary, Dustin proposed to me. Of course, I said the easiest “Yes” in my whole life. Throughout the years we've been together, our love for one another has only deepened. We hope that by attending our wedding, you'll join us in celebrating our love, which will continue to flourish for many years to come. We hope to see you there!
