We met at a mutual friend's birthday party in 2018, and then went our separate ways. Six months go by, and we were both invited on a beach trip with two of our best friends. I knew immediately that Dustin was the one for me, but Dustin wasn't so sure. After spending several months together, he was convinced that I was the one for him..... and the rest is history!

We knew we wanted to marry each other, and had been talking about it for months before the proposal actually happened. I thought there was no way Dustin could surprise me after months of me hinting that I was ready to marry him, but boy was I wrong! I had just started my senior year and Dustin was starting a new job the next week, so he suggested we go on a date to celebrate! It was in the middle of a week, and we both had work the next day, so I never thought that would be the night he finally popped the question. When we got to the restaurant, Dus kept trying to convince me to go outside with him. I, being a little hangry, was persistent on staying inside and ordering food. I reluctantly decided to put off ordering our food and go outside with him, where I got the surprise of my life! Dus dropped to one knee and asked me to spend forever with him. He secretly booked a photographer, and even had our parents there to join us for dinner! I never saw it coming, but it is a night neither of us will ever forget!
