Flight
The South Bend Airport is super convenient (10 minute drive to downtown). We have Uber/Lyft, but they're not as available as in larger cities. There are almost always taxis in front of the airport that can get you downtown. There are rental cars available at the airport, but we've tried to design the weekend such that if you stay downtown, you will not need a car.
Flight
If you prefer a direct flight, your best bet is probably flying into one of Chicago's two major airports. You'll have to rent a car and drive a little under 2 hours to get to South Bend.
