We're getting married!

Sooo, these guys initially met at church in 2021. At one of the church activities, MacKenzie made it her mission to encourage Dustin’s then-girlfriend to attend church services. To MacKenzie’s delight, she started to come and seemingly began to grow! Then, several weeks later, Dustin broke up with the said girlfriend. How dumb! MacKenzie, thinking Dustin was totally out of the will of God, hoped and even prayed that they would mend the relationship and get back together. Little did she know that she would end up falling for the fine specimen of a man, herself several months later. Over time, and with constant contact at church, it didn’t take long for them to realize (Dustin WAAAYY before MacKenzie 😬) that they found themselves talking more, and their conversations were getting longer and longer. As time drew on, they would capitalize on every opportunity they had while at church for a chance to exchange a few words. While it took MacKenzie a little while to realize that Dustin liked her (poor, naive girl), she eventually figured it out and fell for the guy. The chemistry was there, and it was just a matter of God's perfect timing. They both knew that without the hand of God on both of them, it would never work. God moved, and by His grace, they were learning and understanding each other more every day, and they both knew God was in their relationship. After almost 2 years of dating, and immediately following the 2023 Christmas Eve service, Dustin got down on one knee, presented MacKenzie with a ginormous ring, and asked her to be his wife. To everyone’s surprise, she said “Yes” (you can guess who wrote this). We continue to pray that God will help us and bless our marriage and that most of all, we will always be in His perfect will, not ours. We are SO thankful for all that He has done for us! Also, MacKenzie is no longer hoping and praying that Dustin gets back with his previous girlfriend, so we are all thankful for that. 😅 We love you all and hope you join us on April 20th for our special day, whether in person or streaming!
