Portland International Airport
For our out-of-town guests, this is the best airport to fly into! It is centrally located and is about 30 minutes from the wedding venue.
Multnomah Falls
Whether you’re a seasoned hiker or just along for the views, Multnomah Falls is a low-effort, high-reward gem in the Columbia River Gorge! Timed permits may be required in summer for parking, so plan ahead!
Moulton Falls
Moulton Falls is a scenic park near Battleground, Washington, featuring a beautiful waterfall, forested trails, and a suspension bridge over the East Fork Lewis River. It’s a perfect spot for a nature walk, a picnic, or a refreshing swim on a warm day — ideal for guests who want to enjoy the outdoors while visiting the area.
Oregon Coast
While you’re in town, take some time to explore the beautiful Oregon Coast! Oregon is home to some truly stunning beaches, including Cannon Beach (famous for Haystack Rock), Cape Kiwanda with its dramatic dunes and ocean views, and the classic seaside charm of Seaside. We highly recommend carving out a little extra time to enjoy the fresh ocean air and incredible scenery! The coast is located about 2 hours from Portland Airport!
Tillamook Creamery
Located near the Oregon Coast, the Tillamook creamery offers a behind-the-scenes look at how their famous cheese is made, interactive exhibits, and plenty of samples to enjoy. You can grab lunch at their café, stock up on cheese and local goodies, and of course treat yourself to a scoop (or two) of their iconic ice cream. It’s a great stop for families, food lovers, or anyone looking to experience a true Oregon classic while visiting for the wedding!
Pittock Mansion
Perched high in the hills above the city, Pittock Mansion offers one of the most breathtaking views of Portland and the surrounding mountains. This beautifully preserved historic home dates back to 1914 and showcases stunning architecture, elegant interiors, and fascinating exhibits about Portland’s early history.
International Rose Test Garden
Located in Washington Park, the International Rose Test Garden is one of Portland’s most iconic spots. With thousands of roses in bloom from late spring through early fall, it’s a beautiful place for a stroll — and the sweeping city and Mount Hood views make it even more special. Best of all, admission is free!
Roxy's Island Grill
This is Dustin's favorite restaurant to go to when we visit! Roxy’s Hawaiian Grill brings the flavors of Hawaii to Portland with fresh, flavorful dishes like kalua pork, poke bowls, and tropical sides. With a casual, colorful atmosphere and generous portions, it’s a fun spot to grab a relaxed meal while enjoying a taste of the islands.
McMenamins on the Columbia
McMenamins is a beloved Oregon brewery and hospitality company known for its quirky, historic properties and laid-back vibe. Enjoy house-brewed beer, cocktails, and classic pub fare — a fun and easy spot to grab a drink or meal while you’re in town.

Salt & Straw is a Portland-born ice cream shop known for its handmade waffle cones and creative, ever-changing flavors. From classic favorites to unique seasonal creations, it’s the perfect sweet treat while exploring the city! There are locations all over the city, but our favorite one is located in downtown Portland on 23rd street!
