First off my first encounter with Mr. Bulatko was in middle school. He was the cute basketball player on our rival team and I was a cheerleader. As he would say I was "obsessed" over him he would not give me the time of day. We then went on to the same high school back in our hometown and of course he was the older, popular and might I add cocky guy in school. In all honestly I didn't like him, much less did I talk to him. As I like to say God had a plan for us to learn life on our own in high school and experience the world apart before he decided it was time to bring us back together. We graduated and truly were living our own lives. One morning I woke up and saw he had posted something, now don't get me wrong I will never live this one down but something in my heart and soul was telling me to reach out to him. We had grown so far apart I just wanted to know how he was doing and I know it sounds crazy, this guy that gave me no time of day in middle school, plus I could not stand in high school, I cared. As soon as I sent that message I turned my phone over and just could not see if he replied, I was so nervous. All I simple said was "how are you doing". Dustin replied very kindly by answering then proceeding to ask how I was. Then that's when I started to of course, as a girl, get those heart flutters and belly tingling feelings. As we continued to message back and fourth Dustin then led to tell me he had moved to West Virginia and would like to "catch up". Now I agreed but honestly never thought it would happen. As a week went by, talking everyday, Dustin sent me a picture of reservations to the fabulous Jefferey Adams on the fourth with a message saying it was a date. I was stunned this guy just turned "catching up" into a date and not only that but he was going to drive 6 hours to take ME on a date. Not to mention not only was I surprised but my mother was as well. Who was this mystery guy? We would soon come to find out he would be the love of my life.

I finally moved my life up to West Virginia to the place I always said growing up I wanted to live. The day kelbi messaged me for the first time in years, it was probably around 5 am and I was on my way to work. I was so surprised to see the name that popped up on my phone I couldn't believe she messaged me or even gave me the time of day to think about me. She asked me " how are you?' which honestly kind of made my day considering all I really cared about was working and getting my own life together. It made me feel good that someone from my hometown still thought of me. We continued to talk on and off for the next couple of days and I decided to ask Kelbi on our first 'date'. I drove 6 hours to take this beautiful girl on a date to Jeffery Adams on the fourth and on the way down I ran into a little "roadblock" getting a speeding ticket, as I like to say I was so excited for that date I just couldn't slow down. The date was a success considering she moved her whole life from our home town to Morgantown just to be with me. I now have found my best friend and my soul mate because god had a plan for two people that grew up together in a small town, in two different paths of life to meet once again. I now get to marry my best friend and my biggest supporter.
