Dustin and Kathryn met how a lot of couples are meeting these days...online. They were both nervous and hesitant about the process but in the end it was all worth it. They found each other. Dustin came across Kathryn's profile and sent her a one word message, "Hey.". Kathryn was instantly turned off by the lack of words, but viewed his profile anyways to find herself pleasantly surprised. After one month of talking back and forth, Kathryn made the first move and asked Dustin out to sushi. He accepted! Two days later, she asked him out again. Dustin left for two weeks to visit friends and family in his hometown, Sonora, California. As soon as he returned they quickly made plans to see each other. Six months later, Dustin moved in with Kathryn. Three houses, one dog and four and a half years later, Dustin proposed!

It was Kathryn's special birthday...the big 3-0! Dustin made plans to take her to Glen Ivy Hot Springs for a relaxing spa day. They spent the day exploring the pools, hot springs, getting massages, and drinking mimosas. At the end of the day Kathryn stopped Dustin on their way out at her favorite spot on the property to thank him for an amazing birthday. Dustin slyly reached into his backpack and said "Let me make it even better!" He pulled the ring out and asked Kathryn if she wanted to spend the rest of her life with him and she said "YES!!" with tears flowing down her face.
