Laura has been Illyra's best friend since the first grade, at six years old. Through life's great adventure they've been by each others side no matter the distance, difference, and devastation. The greatest joy of not only knowing someone better than you know yourself, is growing up together, and watching your best friend grow up into the person they are today. Although in all fairness between these two and a bottle of wine, not much growing up has happened.

At a random party on a Tuesday in the early days of Covid 19's lockdown, in a drunken fate (and state) Illyra and Leena bonded over "just dance", ariel pole lessons, and high school drama. A name once known in passing became a bond deeper than any ocean on earth. No lie can be told, and no secret can be kept between these two. Leena has been an unwavering support for both the bride and groom over the years, and has been the biggest support for their little family. She may not be the 'maid of honor', but she is the 'fairy godmother'.
Tristen Stauffer
Best Man
Tristen and Dustin have been friends for many years. He may not have been around when Illyra and Dustin met, but he has been one of the few people they trust implicitly. The last few years it has become a running joke that neither one is engaged to Abby or Illyra, but their trucks or each other. Depending on what the day brings. Nonetheless, he's the all-time favorite uncle T, and Dustins best friend.

This all started because of Bryson. After knowing Dustin for years, by the time Illyra came to Quesnel to visit family, Bryson knew after introducing them that they'd be a good match. From boys to Men they always know how to have a good time, especially when an adventure is in the works. No matter how the day ends they always come home laughing with one another.
