Dustin and Erin met through mutual friends at a party, the day she moved back to Louisville from Chicago. They continued to hang out in the same social circles until one night they discovered they were from neighboring hometowns. Dustin noticed that they had similar tastes in music. Erin had no idea, but Dustin eventually developed an interest in her. The years went on as they parted ways, pursuing other endeavors, and burning through other failed relationships. In May of 2017, Dustin finally decided to contact Erin, although she did not see the message for a couple of months. This made Dustin try harder, but at the time, Erin was very busy with work and school. After going on a date with a guy she met at a Modest Mouse concert, who turned out to be not so great, she decided to take things slowly and give Dustin a chance. They met for coffee while Erin was studying for an exam. It was then he asked her on a date to see A Perfect Circle, a mutual favorite band. Erin agreed, and a few weeks later they went on their first date. They continued to talk over the next few weeks while Erin was completing the last month of school before graduation. After graduation, they went on a trip to Chicago. It was there Erin decided she was done with all the relationship stress, and she was going to stick with this one. Erin knew Dustin was special. Erin had plans for life after graduation, but a knee injury, the universe, and a boy named Dustin changed it all. They're now parents of the greatest gift they could ask for, Oscar Neill Kelley. They can not imagine their lives without each other and Oscar. They're all looking forward to becoming an official family and creating new memories.
