Dustin and I met around 20 years ago, give or take a year or two. There was an, unmistakable, instant chemistry from the moment we first smiled at one another. But at that time, we were both in our own respected relationships, so the chemistry wasnt acted upon and we quickly developed a strong friendship. Fast forward 20 years, Dustin does not have facebook, so I get a message request from an unknown person. I’m picky about my prvacy so I decided to read the message without accepting the request. It was from a William Schoonover. It only read a phone number and and a short message that said, this is Dustin Schroeder‘s phone number he asked me to send this to you he doesn’t have a Facebook. It’s a crazy story to think about some times. I’ve thought about Dustin over the years periodically, and my mind forever and always, drawn back to him, never could really explain why something between us was always there and then the daywhen William messaged me was the day that I was actually moving to Florida and I didn’t message Dustin until two days following that and he ended up being scared that I wasn’t going to get a hold of him. But I did and I guess the rest is history now. He asked my daughters for permission to marry me, and unbeknownst to me, he brought me to North Carolina, he was a groomsman in his sisters wedding, and proposed to me on top of a mountain, on top of a waterfall in North Carolina. It was beautiful and breathtaking! I read once, that true love is the soul’s recognition of its counterpart in another. Dustin is my true love. We couldn’t be happier and, I am in love with the best man I’ve ever known! He is truly great to me, my daughters, and everyone in his life! He’s a godsend and I wouldn’t trade him for anything in the world.
